- Seljalandsfoss: A 60-meter waterfall where you can walk completely behind the roaring water curtain (waterproof rain jacket and pants are mandatory!).
- Skógafoss: An iconic, perfectly rectangular curtain of water. Climb the 527 wooden steps to the observation platform above.
- Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach: Marvel at jet-black volcanic basalt sand, towering hexagonal basalt columns, and offshore sea stacks. Warning: Never turn your back on the ocean here—deadly “sneaker waves” strike without warning.

Day 3: Skaftafell Glacier Hike & Jökulsárlón Iceberg Lagoon

Day 4: Eldhraun Lava Fields & The Reykjanes Peninsula
Begin your journey back west, stopping to admire the vast, spongy green moss of the Eldhraun lava field created by one of history’s most catastrophic volcanic eruptions.
Drive onto the volcanic Reykjanes Peninsula to soak in the world-famous, mineral-rich milky cyan waters of the Blue Lagoon surrounded by jagged black lava rocks.
Day 5: Reykjavik Exploration & Departure
Spend your final hours exploring the colorful, pedestrian-friendly streets of Reykjavik. Climb to the top of Hallgrímskirkja church for panoramic views over colorful rooftops, sample a legendary Icelandic lamb hot dog at Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur, and stroll through the glass architecture of the Harpa Concert Hall before your flight from Keflavík (KEF).
